Mid-South Chapter Award Nominations Tips
Allocate enough time to complete the nomination form
Give yourself plenty of time to fill out the award nomination form to the best of your ability. You may need to start a few days or weeks in advance of the due date, so you don’t have to rush to complete it at the end. While the nomination form does not require a vast amount of time to complete, you will want to make sure your submission reflects the merit of the person you are nominating. If you are unsure how long the submission will take, have a quick look through the criteria early so you can estimate how long it will take you to complete the nomination. This will also give you a good indication of what information you will need to complete the submission. If you miss the due date, you’ve missed the opportunity to nominate some potentially very worthy of an award.
Answer all the questions and ensure your nomination fits the award category
Make sure you answer all the questions on the award nomination form because an incomplete submission may not have all the information required to be considered by the Mid-South Chapter Awards Committee.
Stick to the word limit
It’s important not to go over this limit. Your submission should be succinct, well phrased and provide the most important information to help your nominee have a good chance of winning the award.
