Topic: Elder Fraud: Discussing groups in place regarding Elder Abuse, Neglect and Financial Exploitation and their role in investigating and prosecuting these cases. I will also discuss some Exploitation cases I have investigated. One case has been adjudicated. There is one suspect outstanding in the second case.

Bio: Detective Denise Webb joined the Bartlett Police Department in 1996. She served as a School Resource Officer, D.A.R.E. Instructor, and was certified in Crises Intervention. She was promoted to Detective in 2013 where her primary responsibility is Fraud Investigations. In 2015 Detective Webb became involved as a member of CREA, Coordinated Response to Elder Abuse in Shelby County TN and investigates cases of possible Abuse, Neglect, and Financial Exploitation of Elderly and Vulnerable Adults.

An opportunity available for networking from 11:30 am to the start of the presentation.

In person limited to 22 to 24 people.  In person registration closes on Monday evening at 8:00 pm.

Virtual registration closes on Tuesday at 8:00 pm.

Webinar meeting link will be sent via email from Prolaera by 11:00am on the day of the webinar.

There will be four polling questions during the webinar, and three must be completed in order to obtain CPE.
